Nexus Prolong
The Nexus Prolong will provide extra cooling time after your PC has been
turned off!
When a PC is turned off, the temperature of the CPU rises considerably
because the active cooling has been turned off. The Prolong extends the cooling
time to preserve the components.
Once you have turned off your computer the Nexus Prolong will start operating
and will keep the connected fans running for approximately 5 minutes. The fan
power/speed is brought back to 5V instead of 12V to reduce the fan noise, yet
provide sufficient airflow to reduce the temperature of the CPU and the entire
system significantly.
This feature is used in many of the luxury cars these days to extend the
cooling time and increase the lifetime of the components.
The Nexus Prolong is equipped with an LED. When your PC is turned on the LED
is green, once your PC is turned off the Nexus Prolong will do its job and the
LED will turn red.
You can connect up to 2 (3-wire) fans to the Nexus Prolong.

Please Note:
- The PC must be turned off properly for the Nexus Prolong to function. If
