There are many solutions to control our computer temperature - a traditional
way by adding cooling fans and blowing the air directly to the heat source, or a
more expensive ways like water cooling or using cooling blocks etc. This thermal
Cooling Venting kit, sometimes referred to as a Thermal Hood is a very
effective, very economical, and overall best way to cool your PC. It can be used
either to draw the hot air away from the CPU heat source and exhaust it directly
outside instead of letting the hot air flow around and stay in the computer or
it can be used to draw cold room temperature air directly onto the CPU. The
newest Intel® TAC standard requires the computer chassis to have an 80 mm or
larger opening positioned on the up left corner of the side panel right above
the CPU. The Thermal Venting Kit will serve well with any Thermally Advantaged
Chassis design.
This kit comes with a 500 mm long expandable thermal hood, two attached adapters
to fit in any 80 mm or 90 mm fans, additional detached adapters to fit in any 70
mm, 80 mm and 90 mm fans, an 80 mm fan filter, and screws to fit most
applications.
